ADM-Ag03 is a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent with inorganic silver-zinc ion composite as active ingredient. It is mainly used to protect plastic, rubber and other products from erosion by bacteria and other microorganisms, and endow product surfaces with persistent antibacterial activity.

ADM-Ag03 releases silver ions and zinc ions slowly. Bacterial surfaces carry negative charges, so positively charged metal ions will be adsorbed onto bacteria, disrupting their electrolyte balance and damaging cell walls to kill bacteria. Meanwhile, metal ions penetrate into bacterial cells, chemically react with intracellular enzymes, suppress enzyme activity and block bacterial reproduction, thereby achieving thorough bactericidal effects.

ADM-Ag03 antibacterial powder is suitable for plastic and rubber products, including baby care goods, daily tableware, antibacterial medical devices, antibacterial silicone rubber keyboards and more.

4. Application Guidelines

Recommended Addition Dosage (based on total weight of finished products):

Plastics & Rubbers: 0.4–1.0 wt%

The required concentration of antibacterial powder varies depending on multiple factors, including substrate susceptibility to microbial degradation, degree of microbial exposure, types of microorganisms, pH value, temperature, humidity, and required service life of antibacterial protection.
